Boise stays in Mountain West next season (AP)
Wed Feb 22 15:51:28 2012 Boise State's highly successful football program won't be moving to the Big East early. The school announced on Wednesday that despite repeated conversations with the Big East, the Broncos will remain in the Mountain West for the 2012-13 athletic seasons. In a statement, the school said there were too many obstacles and financial concerns to make the move a year earlier than expected.

Temple in talks to join Big East (AP)
Wed Feb 22 12:07:28 2012 A person familiar with the talks says Temple is in negotiations with the Big East about joining the conference in all sports next season. The person spoke Wednesday to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the talks are still ongoing. Temple played in the Big East in football only from 1991-2004, but was forced out of the league.
ACC files complaint with SEC over Vandy (AP)
Wed Feb 22 11:55:30 2012 Vanderbilt officials say the Atlantic Coast Conference has filed a formal complaint for one of its members with the Southeastern Conference involving the Commodores' football team. Beavers suspend CB for driving 104 mph (AP)
Wed Feb 22 10:43:30 2012 Oregon State cornerback Malcolm Marable has been suspended indefinitely by the Beavers after he was cited for driving 104 mph on Interstate 5. State police say Marable was traveling northbound near Albany, Ore., when he was pulled over and cited early Sunday. The sophomore was also cited for failure to produce proof of insurance and registration for the Nissan Altima he was driving.
