Texas A&M-Kingsville pitcher dead in stairwell (AP)


Police say a Texas A&M-Kingsville baseball player has been found dead in the stairwell of an off-campus apartment building. An autopsy has been ordered on 18-year-old pitcher Travis Madden of Inez. Kingsville police say the round him Sunday morning and are investigating reports Madden had attended a party and was last seen walking back to his dormitory.
