2 Wichita State pitchers injured in car accident (AP)


Wichita State pitchers Zach Beringer and Tobin Mateychick were injured in a one-car accident in Oklahoma late Friday, athletic director Eric Sexton said Saturday. Sexton said they were taken to Blackwell Regional Hospital, then transported to Wesley Medical Center. Beringer is a sophomore from Harrisburg, Mo., and Mateychick is a sophomore from Enid, Okla.
